Thanks again for the welcome. I know very little about Randy's personal life but when I see images of him in the late eighties or videos of him on YouTube a decade after he left the Eagles I feel as if he needed a stylist, or a good woman, to groom him. He sort of looks neglected. I love his white shoes, check shirts, denim jeans, long hair and he was deliciously skinny and his good looks as well as amazing voice and onstage presence were part of the whole package so from being, for me and many others, the main attraction he let himself go.
I also enjoyed his stillness when he performed with the Eagles. Eyes closed, concentrating on the bass and the songs. Out on his own he must have been told to jig about a bit, smile more and keep his eyes open. It doesn't seem as if this came naturally to him.
