    Default RIP, Loretta Lynn

Loretta Lynn has passed away peacefully in her Tennessee home at the age of 90. A kind soul who loved everybody. Trailblazer for women. RIP.

RIP Loretta. Definitely not my type of music at all or my taste but she paid her dues and is liked by a lot of people.

I was sad to hear that Loretta Lynn had died, although I raise my glass to her for a life well-lived. She was such a gutsy trailblazer who worked her way out of extreme poverty to become one of the most admired and influential women country music has ever known. Some of my most favorite country music lyrics come from Coalminer's Daughter - "We were poor, but we had love ... that's the one thing that Daddy made sure of." My heart goes out to her family, friends, and fans.

    R.I.P. Loretta Lynn
