If I were to guess, I'd say 1986 after he had his first hospital visit for diverticulitis, which he has stated was partially caused by cocaine abuse.

Thanks for your input, Soda. It certainly makes sense. I really admire Glenn for being so open and honest about the problem he had, and for being brave and determined enough to do something about it. The fruits of his efforts show in how incredible he looks today, at 59. Well done, Glenn !!!
