I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but my hubby is quite a "hunter"! Raccoons and deer mostly. And only in season and legal! It's a sporting thing. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">

The fur is sold and it's a sport dog thing. There are actually world class 'coon hunting dogs and 'coon hunting races. I have been with my husband a few times and to me it's not a lot of fun chasing a dog through the woods in the dark. But lots of men around here have great fun at it. A competition.
As for deer meat, I don't care for it either, but it is very lean and better for you than beef or pork.

No, no offense taken. It's just different strokes for different folks as they say. I live in a rural area and hunting of all kinds is very popular among the men. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
