Linda is the latest to sell her catalog. My gut reaction would be "No Dang Way!" But the money......

Watching "The Sound of My Voice" again brings back memories of seeing her at the Troubadour many times. Seeing her with Emmy Lou was great. They were good together. Glenn and Don in her backup band, later singing with her as the Eagles. After they left her band Waddie Watchel played and sang backup with her. She had such a voice, the sound and how she could belt it out.
It was such a great time in the LA music scene. There were so many great singers who never made it to the big time, but the ones that did, WOW I feel so lucky to have been there to see anther it happen.

I can’t help but think this is a little desperate on her part. She isn’t a songwriter and doesn’t have publishing rights to sell, so it’s not like she’s gonna get tons of money. She’s selling her name and image; not sure how much that’s worth financially these days. At any rate I hope it all works out for her.

You may be right, Delilah. However, rather than a financial decision, it may just be that she feels this is the best way to preserve and protect her name and image for the future.
