Thanks from me for the updates as well, shun. Linda looks great!

I watched the Kennedy Center Honors broadcast last night, and Linda was the first to be honored. Don (Henley) took the stage first for the introductory presentation, but did not perform. He talked about when he and Glenn were in her band, of course. Other speakers were Kevin Kline, and Emmylou Harris. Performers included Carrie Underwood, a female Spanish group performing songs from the Pirates of Penzance (sorry can't remember their name), and Trisha Yearwood and Aaron Neville. Linda got very emotional several times and seemed to be extremely moved by the honor ceremony. I almost cried myself a couple of times.

I watched the whole thing, but it was a great show this year. I don't know much about Michael Tilson Thomas, but I enjoyed his tribute. The camera was Linda and she was mouthing Somewhere.
Here's an interview Linda did that night after the gala and her thoughts on her tribute. I think she was talking about Don even though she said his name, but I know she was talking about Don when she said he came back to support KCH.

Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
In preparation for airing "The Sound of My Voice," CNN has an article: "Linda Ronstadt: A Life in Pictures":

It's all in your smile that brings
All of the special things about you
I watched her part of the KCH too. She was very emotional, which made me emotional! Doesn't take much! I think Don's voice cracked a bit too in his part.
Which reminds me that many of the artists that were a part of my life in song are reaching 'that' age. It's started with Glenn's passing and will only get worse as time goes on. It's hard to think about.

I didn't notice this when I was watching the show, but whoever did this should be fired. That was soo wrong.
