I think that was the point for people to not notice. The writing was so small. The album covers were going so fast that if you weren't paying attention to that picture, you wouldn't notice the words changed. If that one guy didn't notice that changed, nobody would had known that the album title on Livin' In The USA was changed.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I remember seeing the picture, but didn't read the words.

I'm really glad that Linda Ronstadt was accorded a Kennedy Center Honor!

Yeah the revised album cover thing is inexcusable. Whether the image was 'lifted' off the internet or intentionally changed by someone doesn't really matter. What gross negligence that this wasn't detected by the editor's, producers, or whoever before the show was broadcast. People get paid to notice this stuff and I agree someone needs to be held accountable. I wonder if we'll ever find out how this happened?

There's a really good interview with Linda on People.com:

I picked up The Sound of My Voice DVD from the library today, and I'm looking forward to watching it this weekend. CNN is scheduled to air it at 9pm January 1st.

I watched the documentary online last week. I really enjoyed it. It was soo cool to hear Linda talk throughout the documentary. Well put together. I loved the ending. I won't spoiled it for people who haven't seen it.

She was a beautiful lady (still is at 73) and had a beautiful voice.

We watched it the other night (got the DVD from our library). It's great! Narrated by Linda herself, it's a fantastic insight on her life and career. She was quite the firecracker when it came to her career. "You can't do that," she'd be told... but she did it anyway. Love her!
