She doesn't have one. There's a fansite you can visit but that's about it.

Quick, odd question--how long did Linda and JD Souther date? Was it on and off for over a decade? I know it was a couple years in the early 70s, but I swear I jut read an interview with her from the early 80s (like 1980) they they were back together then...

I can see them as a couple tHt would have long stretches apart, then get back together for a bit. By all accounts, though, they're still close friends today....

Not sure - I assumed it was over by her stint with Jerry Brown in the mid-70s but who knows with these rock'n'rollers!

Linda's memoir has a FaceBook page now, with a few previews from the book. It truly sounds like it will be solely about her musical journey and not about anything about her personal life, save her musical roots in Arizona. A shame--I wanted stories about her time gallivanting around in cars with Glenn in the 70s!

I hope time has softened her stance on her popularity in the 70s and the music she made then. In past interviews she's so critical of her voice and singing and musical choices then--I think she's associates "commercial" and "popular" with "trite" and "undeserving." She was a risk-taker and true artist even then--I hope she appreciates that now, looking back.

If she leaves out the personal, the memoir will be pretty dry. Here's hoping she had the sense to infuse the book with some heart.

I have no idea why she's so hard on her 70s self. Maybe it's some kind of defense mechanism about her becoming less popular later - like "I'm more artistic now; that's why I don't sell as well" and in order to maintain that she rags on her "less artistic" 70s self.

    Who knows.

I hope she can appreciate the impact she had at some level, too. I'm sure her book will be an interesting read.

Linda was beautiful in the 70's and had a beautiful voice to match. I had several albums, and I remember feeling disappointed when she did the album with Nelson Riddle. After that, she seemed to fall off the face of the earth. Selfishly, I would have liked her career to go another way.

I agree. She was absolutely beautiful in the '70s and still looks beautiful now. Her smile radiates.
