Kind of an out of the box thought, but Daniel Radcliffe as Glenn. He's got the good hair, basic facial structure and blue eyes. Put a mustache and long hair on him, and you've got a possibility.

Throw long hair on Frankie Muniz and you've got Randy. Cause you need an actor with a baby face.

If Owen Wilson were younger, I'd suggest him for Felder.

Again, if they were younger, I'd suggest a part deux for Billy Crudup as Glenn and Jason Lee as Henley.

I've thought of Scott Porter playing Randy since I first saw him on "Friday Night Lights" years ago and he's part of my fancast I did last year in this thread. He's also from Nebraska too. I never thought about Matthew Fox as Glenn and personally don't see it, but I've also been a fan of Matthew's since "Party of Five" and he was my favorite on LOST. Funny too, Matthew and Scott played the same character at different ages in the "Speed Racer" movie and they have the same birthday. LOL Good choices for Timothy and Felder, and I love Tom Felton too.

Since Linda Ronstadt and Stevie Nicks would probably be a big part of a movie/miniseries I realized I hadn't posted who I think could play them. For Linda I see either Jenna Coleman or Maia Mitchell, while for Stevie I see Rose McIver but she would need brown contacts. Funny thing is too Jenna is British, while Maia is Australian and Rose is from New Zealand so I noticed even in my own fancasting some aren't American actors.

I like the folk that Delilah mentioned. However, nearly all of the male actors these days are gym devotees with muscular bodies. They need to get seriously scrawny to play 70s musicians.

Matthew Fox is older than the others, too but it's hard finding a suitable Glenn. I couldn't find a Joe either. But Pippin may be on to something with Daniel Radcliffe. That would make 3 Harry Potter alumni, lol. I like your choice of Jenna Coleman for Linda Ronstadt.
