Aw, Holly, please don't worry about it. We're all here for you, don't ever forget that. I'm sending you a big big hug

You can spend all your time making money
You can spend all your love making time
If it all fell to pieces tomorrow
Could you still be mine
Thanks Liza! I appreciate it.Originally Posted by Randy's Girl

I'm late on this. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Holly. I know it won't comfort you but time heals all wounds.
Holly - Please don't worry about that - it is really no big deal. You know what they say "Stuff happens" or in other words don't sweat the small stuff. (Or as Soda's banner proclaims - "Don't sweat the petty things" and "Don't pet the sweaty things.")

First of all - Michaela, you're only 2 posts away from 1000.
Now about this - I'll try to explain. In the states, we have an old saying "Don't sweat the small stuff" that means you should not let little, unimportant things worry you. We use the word 'sweat' sometimes as slang. Instead of saying "Don't worry about it.", we will sometimes say "Don't sweat it." And 'petty' is just another word for small or unimportant.Originally Posted by EasyFeeling
So Soda's signature is a play on words.
"Don't sweat the petty things" (I just explained that) and then "Don't pet the sweaty things" (well - just use your imagination). OBTW - 'pet' is another word for 'touch' or 'feel'.
Hope this all makes sense and I didn't confuse you even more.

Don't be sorry. It was totally understandable. I add my sympathy for your loss.Originally Posted by SweetHolly

I thought so but wasn't sure. Thanks Dreamer, you've explained it perfect, as always.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate it. Yesterday my aunt Sarah and I went to Indianapolis, Indiana with the Summer Honors program at Indiana State University. My aunt Sarah is a first grade teacher in Terre Haute, Indiana and she is taking part of the summer honors program and so we went with a bunch of high school students who are taking part of the program and went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and to the Indianapolis Zoo. It was a lot of fun. One of the many cool things I got to do at the zoo was pet a shark.
