However, my Dad speaks Italian, and I'm plucking up courage to ask him if he'd translate that Ciao article for me. I can't help thinking my Mum would quite like that picture (your current av).

Regarding educating relatives about the Eagles:
Two years ago when we went to California for the Hotel California tour, I told one of my elderly aunts we were making the trip to see the Eagles, and she said, "Is there a bird sanctuary out there?"

I really enjoyed that, DF! I feel sad for all those who haven't been introduced to the magic of The Eagles. I feel sad for myself after only having been introduced to them three years ago!

Today before work I went to change the registration of my car, finally. A few days ago I looked up in the net for a plate number which I like.
I had MF so far (my initials) but couldn't get it in the North of Bremen. So I checked if they have GF, no chance.

Ok, below you can see my new plate number and I'm very happy with it. I wanted to get 63 (year of birth) for the number but this wasn't possible.
So I've chosen 77 since that was the only multidigit number I could get.
Could be my goal how often I get to see Keith in my life.

I had my latest car before I'd restored my love for the Eagles, so in retrospect I'm lucky to have GF on it - AG03FDL. You've got to be a real hard core fan to appreciate that!

Oh dear, that sucks! I can imagine how you feel. I don't think they noticed what they were talking about. It's kind of beauty mania, can I say that? As for the photographer, he could have been a little more tactful. He wanted a family portrait... and you are NOT a part of the family, or what???

I've seen some photos of you but I never thought you are fat. Rubbish!
