I only watch the auditions which are pretty funny. The only ones I like from Idol are Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.

I confess--I don't ever watch the end of the season. I am one of those bad people that watch the auditions and laugh hysterically at some of the talentless people that seriously think they stand a chance! I haven't watched any this year tho.

There's already been one funny/sad moment when Ryan Seacrest attempted to high-five a blind contestant. Check it out:

Ryan is a pretty boy, but... not too bright.

Are you kidding me? But then I guess I could see someone doing that without even thinking about it.

Yeah, and in truth, he didn't mean any harm by it, poor guy. It still made me cringe though!

I tend to like the rockers too, Soda - the good rockers anyway. I liked Daughtry, David Cook and Bo Bice - I wanted him to beat Carrie Underwood so bad!!! However now I can appreciate her talent. The year Jennifer Hudson was in I wanted her to win. I remember when she did Circle of Life from The Lion King - she was awesome!

Does anyone have any favorites yet?

I liked Fantasia, such a beautiful voice, Made Elton John cry when she did Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

I saw it on tv, but wanted to watch it again to see if it looked like he was just being 'stupid funny', but you're right Soda, he was just not thinking!

I heard that the British version has four judges and so they wanted to have four on the American version too.

This is almost embarrassing to admit, but I have almost never watched American Idol. I don't watch television hardly ever, and when I do it is either sports or news channels.
