Re: Fun Facts
OK! In no particular order, here are some fun facts I came up with (the first one is from Freypower):
He's left handed, but plays his guitar right-handed.
He started piano lessons when he was 5.
He has three children - two sons and a daughter.
Nicknames include Roach (for his frequent pot-smoking back in the day), Sporticus (for his obession with sports), and the Lone Arranger (for his individualistic approach towards arrangement of music). Also calls himself Elvis sometimes, ie "I told myself, 'Elvis, you can't party like you used to.'"
The first demo Glenn ever did for David Geffen was Chug All Night - in 1994, Glenn suggested no one ever listen to it again.
The first two working titles of No Fun Aloud were Prelude to Obscurity and Do You Know Who I Used to Be?
One summer in the 90s, he taught a two-month course on songwriting at UCLA.
His nose got broken when he was 13 - his younger brother hit him in the face with a baseball bat. Lesson? "Never catch without a mask."
On a good day, he can make the equivalent of a pro-shot on the golf course.
According to Cameron Crowe, the lead character of Almost Famous is based largely on how he viewed Glenn.

Re: Fun Facts
His last solo band was called the Mad Dogs after his Mad Dog Ranch in Snowmass, Colorado.
He also owns houses in Kauai (sp?), Hawaii, Palm Springs and Laguna Niguel in Orange County, CA.

Re: Fun Facts
Seems like I remember reading he got rid of the Aspen house. I just can't remember where I heard that.

Re: Fun Facts
The Colorado house is in Snowmass, which is basically a suburb of Aspen.
