WOW, DF! Thanks for the article and the YouTube link. Billy Joel paying tribute to The Beatles, and then Don appearing on the same show! Amazing! He certainly seems to be in fine voice, and the crowd knew all the words!

I'm not too keen on the single comment posted about the video, though. Hmph.

I just read a couple more news releases about last night that said they are making a DVD of the show including guest performances. Yay!

That is so cool!!! Can you imagine getting such a bonus at an already HUGE concert. My brother absolutely has worshiped John Mellencamp since the early 80's when we were in high school. He has even went so far as to have gone down to Seymour and hang out at the bars and such that John did. He's a really great fellow hoosier who is very proud of being from Indiana!
He sings it high, he plays it low

It really is cool. A blogger on a Billy Joel site wrote that she overheard the guest stars for tonight's second sold-out concert will be Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr!

Oh, to be in New York right now.....

    Wow! You go Don!

Tickets for Billy Joel's Australian tour go on sale on July 25. I really enjoyed the last show in 2006 and I'd like to go again.

WireImage had photos of the show, but none of Don.

I love it! Here's another youtube video. You can barely hear Don and the band, but I LOVE how loud the crowd sings along...especially on the chorus! Gives me goosebumps!

Sure! All we need, to quote an ABBA song, is "Money, money, money!"
