Welcome jerseyboy! How cool that you got to hear them so early (even if it was from a distance). Hope you like it here!

Thanks everybody for a warm welcome.
On the Eagles Jersey City concert in the 70's, they were the opening act for the Beach Boys. They only had out their first album. If you punch up Eagles Jersey City Roosevelt Stadium concert on the internet, some stories about the concert come up.

Welcome from me, too, JB! This is a wonderful place for all things Eagles.

I've been a fan since the first album, too, and got to see them during the Hotel California tour in St. Louis in around 1976 or 77. (I can't remember and have no memorabelia from it. ) We were way up in the nosebleed section, but it was wonderful anyway at the time. My brother and cousin actually made it down to the stage somehow and got to see them up close. How they did that, who knows! You'd have to know my brother!

Dreamer, I know I'll probably regret asking this, but....what is that thing Can you give me a hint without killin' me? I don't really need to know where you got it from... And from the conversation, it sounds as if you and Brooke saw the HC concert together way back when?? I'm so confused!

EV--that is a little button we would of all liked to have had in the 70s. They were little buttons that the Eagles had the roadies pass out to the beautiful girls in the audience, they were told they were invited to a post concert party, no boyfriends allowed. Quite sought after!

Now you've been let in on the secret! Don't tell anyone!
