Yikes! Willie, that's crazy! They sent a letter home with Sarah last week saying that there were 28 kids in the 6th grade who were out with the flu and when I called my dentist office to reschedule an appointment because of an upset tummy, that's all I had to say!! (they usually throw a fit over rescheduling) The flu panic has officially started here. I hope Katie is all right and you and Larry get to celebrate!

My 27th wedding anniversary is tomorrow. Shouldn't have gotten married when I was 12.
I need to get my butt into the hospital where I work and get the regular flu shot and the intranasal H1N1 vaccine. They're free to hospital employees so I have no excuse other than procrastination.
Hope you're daughter feels better quickly and the rest of your family is spared.

Happy anniversary Molly! 27 years is quite the accomplishment!
Katie still down for the count. Running a fever but not as bad as some I've heard of. The highest she's gotten so far is 100.3. And of course, to add insult to injury, this has given her one of her migraines and she can't take the migraine medicine with the Tylenol and Motrin for the fever. Poor kid-when I peek in on her, she's got the room completely dark and has an eye mask on. I hate to turn the light on to take her temperature because it hurts her. Gonna be a looooong weekend!

Thanks for all the well wishes! At this point, I think Ditka and I are in it for the "long run"!
I got up early (even tho it's my day off) to bake Steve his favorite cake (Black Forest). It turned out beautifully. I even went all out decorating it using decorator icing tips, chocolate sprinkles and cherries on top.
I was quite proud of it.
Was quite proud of it...I tipped it as I was heading downstairs to our basement refridgerator and it slid nearly off the platter. It totally smushed on one side.
Ah well. I don't think he married me for my baking skills. And obviously not for my coordination, either!
