6 weeks plaster bandage (I hope I'm saying it alright!) and she's sitting next to me and she's still laughing.. strange girl

Im thinking our boys would be terrible doctors. Every time they came near you, your blood pressure would go through the roof and your temperature would rise!! I Know if Joe were taking my blood pressure, looking in my eyes or giving me a breast exam *grin* my reaction would NOT be normal *grin*

I work in a hospital, and we have a doctor who, if persuaded to wear a long wig, would look amazingly like Timothy. I call him "Timmy Doc" (behind his back, of course).

I think I've mentioned before that every Saturday night a bunch of our friends get together with us on our patio and we have "album night". Everyone brings food and albums and we set out there till 2 or 3 in the morning listening to music and visiting. We have even named ourselves "The Vinyl Record Club" All our kids think we've gone wacky because we are up way past our bedtimes "partying"!! But they love the fact that their parents are "cool" listening to rock and roll every weekend (my daughters exact words!).

Anyways, all of us are taking a "field trip" tomorrow on the search for new vinyl. It seems that since we started this several months ago, none of us can drive by a second hand store, flea market or yard sale without stopping to see if we can find albums or records. So we figured we'd make a day of it this weekend and do it together. I hope I get as lucky as I did last weekend when I found all those Joe Walsh albums.

That sounds fun, TBF!

Hubby and I sit out on our deck on weekend nights and put our stereo on "random" and listen to all our favorite songs. We have speakers out there. We have a 100 slot cd player and I recently burned all of our songs on individual cds. Some of them have 2 songs on them because we had so many faves from certain groups (one guess who one of them is!).

I think we may try your vinyl idea, too. As soon as I can find a used turntable!

That sounds like a lot of fun. The only problem we'd have is Hubby and my tastes are soo different. We both like Ray Wylie and the old Eagles stuff, but he LOVES Johnny Cash and really old Ozark-type country stuff, and my tastes bend a different way *grin* Most of the time, I cant stand his music and he doesnt care for mine. (The Ipod keeps the peace)
