Finally got a chance to read this and I love it! The story about the band's first days in Aspen which he expanded upon in concert was very cute. I also liked hearing more about his memories of the early days pre-Eagles in Detroit. I love interviews that go beyond the obvious questions and elicit factoids we haven't heard much before. It's only a shame it's so short.
His comment about being the "happiest man in the world" because audiences still loved them in their music was very sweet. Of course we still love them. They are awesome. He and the Eagles deserves their success, that's for sure.
And with five months of shows next year, looks like the Eagles will hit 40 years after all. Wonder if they'll play Colorado again in that stretch? It sure would be fitting.
