Looks like I'll spend most of it by posting in here, ranting on Facebook about something, tweeting with some Slash fans on twitter and playing a couple of different word games... one of them against our own Willie!

I am enjoying a quiet Saturday night even more than usual, knowing that it's a 3 day weekend (Queen's birthday celebration). Have just watched the first disc of Downton Abbey (season one, I'm late jumping on the bandwagon for this one). Had dinner with hubby in the man cave, listening to Eagles Greatest Hits Volume II on vinyl, lovely glass of wine in one hand, husband in the other. Simple pleasures don't get much better.

Another BBC series I've gotten completely hooked on is Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. My friend and I had a viewing marathon over the past week and I am "Sher-locked"! lol

Waking up, packing and headed to the beach for 2 days!!! The getting started part seems to take longer and longer these days though.... I probably won't post for a couple of days, but I'll definitely post up pics on FB and twitter. And NO, there will be NO pics of me in a bathing suit!! *sigh* That was totally depressing yesterday while shopping... and that's even after I've lost 15 lbs. Anyways... did I mention the girl that I'm going with is young and pretty? And size 7? Ok, now I've depressed myself. I'm not going. lol Just kidding... sort of... hehe I've got my 'big gurl' bathing suit and I'm going to flop around in the water and wave my hands like I just don't care....
