Glad you enjoyed Jackson in concert. Sounds like it was a really great show. I do think Jackson is one of the ultimate storytellers in his songwriting, so I'm sure it was just as interesting to hear him talk about the songs & his experiences.. Still love him too!

    OK Daryl!!!

Well now, he had a band, huh? So I wonder if this band is going to stay with him throughout the tour then? I wish he'd make up his mind so I know rather I should try and get tickets or not.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'd love to see him with his band too, but now you don't know what to do.

I know, I thought that was just so funny! If I was saving myself for Jackson, I would still be a virgin!

I wonder how long she had to wait for that~

They got together when she was about 22. She must have been absolutely positive he wouldn't say no - but then again I doubt many men did say no to Daryl Hannah. Too bad Jackson didn't turn out to be her knight in shining armor after all, even if he did get First Lance!

I wish Jackson would announce if he was doing the band thing regularly, too; if he's just solo, I don't want to go to his show again.

Thank you for the write-up, SG! I would love to see Jackson again, band or no band. His Solo Acoustic albums are just stunning and contain some of my favourite versions of songs he has ever performed (Sky Blue and Black is a perfect example.) I'm glad you enjoyed the show.

It sounded as if this band has been with him for the whole tour. I think they will be with him for the remainder.

Just looked up tour dates. He's not coming near me, but he's playing Linden, TX is November. Are some favors getting called in? lol

See, I'm just the opposite - my favorite versions are always the originals w/band, probably because that's the first way I heard them.

Although the album Late For The Sky is said to be a fan favorite, my favorite albums are his first two - Jackson Browne (Saturate Before Using) and For Everyman. They are both so earthy. Listening to those two albums, I can almost feel myself being taken back to the early 70's, one of the most creative times in rock history.
