NKIT and The Sad Cafe round out my top 5 Eagles songs (yes, it's ballad-heavy). Someone described NKIT as "glorious". Indeed.

I wonder if singing the After Hours songs has given Glenn more confidence in his vocals... enough to bring back NKIT??
I wish I could answer that question but I suspect not. (The answer to the first part of the question is yes).

For some reason I have always felt that Glenn is not a great fan of NKIT. Maybe he feels that it has been overshadowed by HC, LITFL & even Wasted Time. I am here to tell him however, that after years of agonising I finally declared it my favourite Eagles song.

Well, this was hard to pick one song, but I went ahead and voted for New Kid In Town, although I could have just as easily gone with Already Gone. The fact of the matter is, I think they should both be in the setlist. So should many of these songs. FP - I personally think the reason that NKIT was dropped is because it's a pretty difficult song for Glenn to sing. However, I don't see why he couldn't rearrange it to make it easier for him. I know some folks may not agree, but I wouldn't even mind having some of these songs combined into a medley. For me, something is always better than nothing.

One of my other favorites that I would like to see brought back that wasn't included on the list is Somebody.

Somebody wasn't included because it was played as recently as two years ago (lucky me saw it three times) and this list consists of songs which haven't been played live for over five years.

I still think that if Glenn can sing Caroline, No he could sing NKIT again.

And the winner is... "New Kid in Town"! Not really that surprising... it's a huge hit.

2nd place goes to "Already Gone."

    I missed this thread somehow.

I voted for James Dean. I'm hoping that's the kind of stuff they bring back for the 40th anniversary tour. I think it showcases a specific point of their career and it rocks.

I totally missed this thread too. I voted for TS, but I would take NKIT or AG too. In fact all 3 should be added to the 40th Anniversary TOUR!!!!!

I went with Ol' 55 since for me too it was the first one I thought of before reading all the posts.

Also glad to see some mentions of Sad Cafe, one of my favorite songs of all time. "I don't know why fortune smiles on some, and lets the rest go free."

Tequila Sunrise is up there for me, but I hear it a lot more since there are at least 3 versions on my iPod.

I thought it appropriate since we are anticipating next year's tour.
