"Let's burn our long johns and head west" - Glenn Frey 1948-2016
Thank you, Dawn.
In case you missed it - this is a fairly good documentary. What a band they were clearly legends in their own time.

"Let's burn our long johns and head west" - Glenn Frey 1948-2016
Thanks for the link, Dawn. I just watched it and it was really interesting. I didn't know all of their history. They sang such beautiful harmonies, but what a lot of conflicts between the cast of characters!
I was reading today that Graham has married his young (40) girlfriend.
Never been a fan, but even if I was, I pronssit wouldn't consider it a tragedy if people their age won't play together anymore. They've certainly left their mark.
I love their harmonies and am sad they won't play together again. But, they don't sound like they used to either.
I got to see them back in 2002 in St. Louis and they were awesome.
Just leave the politics out! And that goes for any of them! I want to hear the music.

Yes, they can be a bit preachy in concert. To the point of being booed. It doesn't deter them.
