I vote for Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise.
I vote for Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise.
It's another Tequila Sunrise for me.
I think I will be outvoted here, but I vote for Doolin Dalton/Desperado Reprise.
Desperado
"They will never forget you 'till somebody new comes along"
1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
Desperado again for me
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'
Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
Personally I feel Desperado is better by itself than in the Reprise. It's also one of the band's biggest songs. They've closed with it for decades now probably.
I also don't like Tequila Sunrise at all. I do like Desperado, as I can relate to some of the imagery.
I find Desperado rather boring in all honesty, having it as the set closer sucked the life out of the entire joint and reiterated that in their latter years the Eagles were nowt but Henley and friends. I find it by far the least enjoyable of the four remaining songs and significantly inferior to the Reprise, at least actually that builds to something and has input by other members of the band.
Desperado is my heart song, loved it since I heard Linda sing it so long ago.
Tequila Sunrise is classic beautiful Eagles.
The Reprise is hauntingly beautiful.
I think my vote goes for Tequila Sunrise, because it would break my heart to vote for Desperado.
