@Soda -- I was a Glenn girl the first time I heard "Lyin' Eyes" on the radio when I was seven! That voice had me from the get-go. I never could like Don H. as well. He didn't have that voice. LOL. I think the first time I saw the band when I really knew who they were was not long after TLR was released. I think they showed the video for ICTYW, or part of it, on "America's Top 10" with Casey Kasem. My sister, who is five years older, said, "That's Glenn. He's the one who sings 'Lyin' Eyes'." BOOM! That was most definitely it for me. I'd probably seen the group on a magazine cover before, but just as a group, without really knowing which one was which.
I've said it before: only three musicians could ever have convinced me to take up the groupie lifestyle: Paul McCartney, John Taylor of Duran Duran and Glenn.
So here he is: sweet, sexy and smokin' HOT!
I have always loved this picture ! Thanks Pippin !
Noting the Oklahoma jersey, somebody on Youtube posted an audio (poor) of Eagles performing at the Oklahoma fairgrounds in July 1972.
Hi FF - I was going to say it was before the 1972 election. I have seen photos with Randy having a Mc Govern sticker on his guitar too. My memory is foggy on this -lol, but I think Bernie sported some kind of Mc Govern sticker too.
