groupie- I kind of had the same feeling about JD. But it could be at his age, it's more a nostalgic, wistfulness about their youth and time together. I know being 61 years old, this board makes me feel that way sometimes. I look back and smile at my concert memories, knowing I'll never again be that 16 year old girl that gets to watch a 26 year old Glenn sing "Take it Easy", hear the crowd's deafening response to Randy's "Take it to the Limit", or sit on my hot boyfriend's shoulders during their concert, just because!
I loved it! Can't wait to watch it again!
I thought JD looked a little teary eyed too.

I finally got to watch Linda's documentary last night and enjoyed it a lot.
I had some of the same observations as have already been mentioned. The film was definitely focused on her music career, which is what I expected. However, I was also somewhat disappointed that there was no mention of Glenn inducting her into to R & R HOF or an addendum about her Kennedy Center honor.
As far as her personal life, I was surprised that their was no mention of her adopted children or other high profile relationships such as Jim Carrey or, especially, George Lucas. Considering how much information left on the cutting room floor, the film could have easily been 2 1/2 hours long. I get that she may not have wanted the focus on her personal life, however, given that her romances with JD and Jerry Brown were touched on, I would have thought the others may have gotten a mention, even if they didn't want to be interviewed.

Well, Jim Carrey was much younger than her and maybe it wasn’t a serious relationship? Dunno. Linda didn’t mention George Lucas in her book either, though she did discuss JD and Jerry. I’m wondering if she’s not on good terms with Lucas.

I think JD is still in love with her.
