I mentioned this in my birthday thread but it probably belongs here. I was at work the other night and just as the clock struck midnight and into my birthday, I was walking out of the breakroom and onto the casino floor and heard Dirty Laundry playing. I love that it was the first song that i heard on my birthday.

We have a radio at work which has a broken antenna and that's why it only receives two radio stations. Since a few weeks only one radio station is available. The one I hate because they mostly play music I don't like (I'm not so into rap and beat or Brittney and Bushido). So most of our working time the radio (which sits on my desk) is playing very quietly.
But from time to time I start smiling from one ear to the other and turn the radio louder. Because sometime, on rare occasions, they play the Eagles, Glenn Frey or Don Henley.
Last time that happend our boss came in and said: "Why are you turning the radio louder?? Do you want me to leave, I don't like it that loud!!". My co-worker turned around and said: "Don't worry. That won't last long, just a few minutes. She always turns the volume up when they play the Eages".
Hehe
I work at a Verizon store in our local mall....we have a little kiosk in the middle. It's always funny because they tend to play the Eagles or Don quite a bit (especially "I Can't Tell You Why") and naturally if I'm speaking to a co-worker I will stop mid-sentence and listen. They give me the oddest looks.
Hahaha!
Sometimes when I'm at college the radio will play a lot of Eagles or Don Henley (usual Eagles, because The Netherlands just know 2 songs of Don Henley I've got to make some change to that!) and that's usual when we're having a lunch break or whatever, so I'm sitting there with my friends trying not to turn red because Don is on the radio. And sometimes it won't work and they ask: "What's wrong with you? Did Don passed you or something?" Uh...
Let somebody love you, before it's too late..
Don can pass me anytime he wants
I was waiting to board my flight at the Tampa airport yesterday evening and just as I was about to make my way to the restrooms (i hate having to use the lavatory on the plane) Heart Of The Matter came on over the speakers. So of course i waited till the song was over to go to the restroom.

I got in the car today after a tiring shift at work, and the first chords of Busy Being Fabulous started as soon as the radio came on! Funny how something like that can completely change your mood.
you better put it all behind you, baby, 'cause life goes on
you keep carrying that anger, it'll eat you up inside--
I still have yet to hear BBF on the radio.
