For youthful exuberance and the promise of a good time, "Chug All Night" deserves a mention.
Even a song about sexual exploitation can have an unintentional sexy moment - just listen too the crowd react to "we're going to take care of you, darling" in the Long Beach "King of Hollywood".
Don Henley's solo song "End of the innocence"
"you can lay your head back on the ground
and let your hair fall all around me
offer up your best defense
but this is the end
this is the end of the innocence."
It's literally talking about sex.
When i first heard this song, I was 14 and blushed so bad I looked like my face was sunburnt!
I always loved King of Hollywood, actually the way Don sings it. Very sexy.
Now, it reminds me of Jeffrey Epstein! Funny but not funny!
"They will never forget you 'till somebody new comes along"
1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
"People don't run out of dreams: People just run out of time ..."
Glenn Frey 11/06/1948 - 01/18/2016
My “sexiest” song by far is “Those Shoes”. Man is that song hot!! Steamy!! It sounds so wrong to think of “King Of Hollywood” in that way but dang it is! The music is so good and Henley’s seductive voice.....
it is eerie how the “me too” movement could’ve used it as their theme song.
songs also in the running are “Victim of Love”....this song is on fire too...sweet slide and rocks!
“One of These Nights”, “Get You In The Mood” “chug all night” a good ol party song...
Solo songs....Glenn and Don always get the limelight, however.... I think Mr. Walsh has quite a few sexy songs as well! (Surprise) Including “Woman” (naughty!) “Midnight Man” and “You’re Gonna Need Me” (James Gang) “Slow Dancing” and I’m a sucker for “You Might Need Somebody”, and “I Broke My Leg” (don’t judge me )
