Love all of these! Some of them are on the site for download but sometimes you just wanna stream 'em. It's always great to be reminded of old faves this way - thanks for posting!

Can never see this too much so gonna post it again.
P47 --every time I've watched this prior to now, I've always laughed at Bernie's humor. Today I thought of you and paid a little closer attention to him than I ever have.

Since I'm on the HOF --might as well post this also. How cool this was. I remember watching it with tears of happiness in my eyes.

With MF, while I was watching Randy sing it (such a hardship!), I was thinking wouldn't it be cool to see them do this again but could someone else sing it as well?
Thanks for posting all those videos everyone. They are awesome.

Willie, here's the best answer I can give to your question. I'm not positive about some of this, so others can feel free to weigh in here. I'm thinking that Earlybird and MF have never been (or never will be) performed after Bernie and Randy left the band. As far as GDIH, I'm not positive but I don't think it's been performed since the resumption. James Dean was last performed in 2003 or 2004. They played it in the very first leg of the Farewell I tour. And according to Glenn, the only time they have ever performed Ol' 55 live was at the Millennium concert.

According to my bootlegs, the last time they played Earlybird was as part of the Desperado tour setlist; the last time they played Midnight Flyer and GDIH was as part of the Hotel California tour setlist; James Dean was last seen in 2003 and Ol' 55 at the Millennium concerts in 2000. However, Glenn's memory is a bit faulty - Ol' 55 was a regular part of their setlist in 1974-1975, as the version played on the Kirshner concert attests.

You can also listen to it played at Springfield in 1975:

sodascouts was also kind enough to compile past setlists when I inquired a few months ago:

Makes me salivate at all the deep cuts that they have not performed live and that they could and should try to tackle.
