Oh, I like Bill Bailey, and he is multitalented. You get some good shows down your way, Fp.

I know this may have been covered in other threads, but I thought
I would start a fresh one. I'm new here, ya know, so forgive me if this
is a duplication.

I'll start it off with who I've seen just this year.
Van Halen
The reunion tour with David Lee Roth joining Eddie Van Halen,
Alex Van Halen and Wolfie Van Halen (Eddie's Son)
Journey/Cheap Trick
You've seen some pics of this
Heart
They were with Journey and Cheap Trick most of the time, but not
in Nashville, for some reason. But we caught them 2 days later in
Nashville at the Wildhorse Saloon. The Wilson sisters can still rock!
Bruce Springsteen
Another Nashville show. His 3 hour concert was outstanding
The Eagles
What can I say? Another great 3 hour show!

Well, obviousl the most important was Eagles on 20th March in London with MF, GEF and my daughter Laura (Timtot!). It has been reviewed extensively in the Concert Review thread.
June 14th, Neil Diamond in Croke Park Dublin which I believe I have covered elsewhere. Needless to say my heart was elsewhere that night
April 14th Laura and I won tickets to Hal Ketchum in concert in Dublin. There was a M&G also. He was very good, and a lovely man to meet. He told Laura all about his little daughter (Ruby) at the M&G. He was backed up by a very accomplished Irish country singer called Justin McGuirk. And excellent night! The camera Nazis were out though!!

Glenn Frey 1948-2016 RIP
I saw John Fogerty for the first time, Elton John for about the 10th time, and will be seeing Billy Joel for the fifth time in November.
The Eagles for the first time.
Guus Meeuwis (a Dutch singer) also for the first time.
Let somebody love you, before it's too late..
The only act other than the Eagles that I've seen live in quite some time is Rascal Flatts. I'm not a huge fan, but I took my nieces to see them. I did go to the CMAs last November and saw quite a few acts perform, even though it really wasn't a concert. My sole reason for going was because the Eagles were performing 'How Long'. Actually, all of my 'concert' budget in recent years has been used to see the Eagles either together or solo. Given the current cost of Eagles tickets these days, I don't expect that this will change much in the foreseeable future.

I saw Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood this spring. They were both great, although I wouldn't have gone to see Carrie if she hadn't been the opener for Keith.
Last Saturday was the 4th Eagles concert for me. Once in the mid '70's (don't remember much from that! ) Again in 2002 and 2003.
I also saw Don Henley in 2004 and got to go to a meet & greet with him. That was wonderful!
Others in the past 6 years were:
Aerosmith
Kenny Chesney
Cheap Trick
Def Leppard
Tesla
Van Zant
Gretchen Wilson

THEY ROCK!! when they did their rendition of itsy bitsy spider I WAS all "YEA MAN!!! WOOOO!!!!!" and head bangin' and stuff!! Ok.. so Im pathetic and havent been to a REAL concert since 2002 when I saw the guys at the Rose Garden. I DID have the opportunity to see Everclear Acoustic this weekend but passed it by and Im using the $$$ to buy myself a guitar so I can be my OWN concert (Or maybe accompany that awesome Mrs Reed band.. they rock!!!)
