Well - I'm playing a little 'catch up' here in posting the results of our On the Border album poll. Most people around here won't be surprised to discover that the song with the most points in our poll is Already Gone. However, it may surprise some that Good Day in Hell trails in second place, closely followed by The Best of My Love. So congratulations to the awesome Already Gone and here are the rest of the results ...

HAPPY 39th BIRTHDAY TO ON THE BORDER!

A terrific album and the one that first saw Bill Szymczyk as engineer as well as new member Don Felder, even if he was a "late arrival." Plus, it gave the Eagles their first number 1: "The Best of My Love."

Wow!!!!! Happy 39th birthday to a very very special album. Already Gone is one of my favvies on it. I can't wait 'til I get this c.d. though. Some songs I haven't even heard of. LOL I'm so behind. Loving the new look on this board Nancy!!!!!!!!! Too cool. I will look out for the next album's anniversary!!!! LOL.

BTW, if anyone is wondering why this place suddenly looks very different, I've created a board style theme for each album and whenever the anniversary of an album comes up, we make that album's board style theme the board default for a week.
