I've always thought it was more Beatles-influenced. "Burned" is "She loves you" era and "Such a Lovely Child" has a hint of "Eleanor Rigby". I think Glenn is even attempting a Liverpool accent.

Great stuff! Thanks so much for sharing!
Here's a good interview from 1972. I suspect thanks are due not only to the person who posted it on youtube but to whoever recorded it and digitised it.

Ran across the official "You Belong to the City" video on Vimeo. It's not a fabulous print, but as scarce as his 80s videos are sometimes, I thought it was worth mentioning: https://vimeo.com/152382583
(Smuggler's Blues is also on that site.)
And if anyone can find the official video for "The One You Love," I'd love to see it again.
I uploaded all of his official videos ten or so years ago (man, it took me ages to find some of these), so you can imagine how crap quality they are, but if you're desperate and can't find them on streaming sites in better quality....

Thanks a bunch!
Let me just say "The One You Love" video made my little 14-year-old heart go TWANNNGGGGG!
Oh, flitter. Who am I kidding? That video still makes my toes curl!
This was posted awhile back from YT but the link expired. I only got to see it once. Here it is again--Glenn's cover of "What's Going On" from 1982, courtesy of Paste Magazine (plus some great audio of other songs performed then).

Delilah - If I am correct, I think that was from his concert on 1/1/82, at the Capital Center, Passaic, N.J. Thanks for posting it. I saw it not too long ago on I believe the FL FB Page. He does a great job on all the songs.
