Glenn, Tim and Joe talked to Rolling Stone about rechristening the Forum:

Thought this was interesting tidbit from Glenn:

The Eagles will likey come up with a few of their own ideas about how to add to the Forum's history come January 15th. "We're thinking already of what's gonna happen that night and we might want to spice up our show with a few things," Frey said. "[But] we haven't really talked about it seriously because we literally just stepped off the road."

At the moment, they're focusing on a tour that Schmit says will run well into next year.*"What's interesting is this tour that we just started, it's sort of like this celebration of our fans' relationship with us," Frey said. "And that's what keeps making me feel so good, that's what we kind of witness every night besides trying to play our best and sing in tune, hit our marks, do it all with feeling, there's this other thing that happens every night.

"And people have the same feeling about the Forum, people have had relationships with this building for a long, long time. NBA championships have been won here, incredible music events, Led Zeppelin, Crosby, Stills and Nash, I saw them here for the very first time. When we played here in '76 we had Toots and the Maytals open for us for Hotel California and then for The Long Run we had Roy Orbison. I'm just being reminded that we always tried to do a little something special." *

Perfect Beast, I have attended many concerts and LA Kings hockey games at the Forum. Everyone who lives in greater Southern California has gone to shows there. In no way should you let the neighborhood deter you, especially if you are taking a cab and don't have a car to walk to. Granted, it is a little sketchy looking, but nothing that would keep me from seeing the Eagles if I had the opportunity. Just imagine that so many celebrities and Eagles' family members will be there on the same night. You just drive right into the parking lot, it's not like you'll be hanging out on the streets at 3 a.m. looking to buy drugs or something. You'll be fine, better than fine!!! We could probably organize a private Border shuttle from and back to someone's hotel - there will be enough of us that it will be worth it...

I know it's not even worth my doing research on this one! Lol January is usually the month when we have to realise that the Christmas exuberance has to be paid for! But even more I'm pushing it taking a day off in November as it is. It's not gonna happen here much as I'd like it!

Well I definitely want to try to make LA. I will be working 14 hour days, 6 or 7 days a week between Thanksgiving and New Years so I will be ready for a break and I can't think of a better way to spend all the overtime pay!
