Involvement with the Eagles
Before Bernie Leadon joined the Eagles, he was part of Gene Clark's band Dillard & Clark. At that time, Clark and Leadon wrote Train Leaves Here This Morning, which appeared on the Dillard & Clark album The Fantastic Expedition of Dillard & Clark (1968).

Gene Clark passed away in 1991.
