Okay - last but, of course, not least are my favorite stage looks for Don that I think would still work for him today. My preferred look for Don is HFO length hair, and no facial hair. I loved young Don's beard and moustache, but facial hair just doesn't work well on him now, IMHO. Obviously, the man can't go wrong in a Henley (even if it's covered with plaid). It's almost as if they were made for him :wink: ...

Occasionally you see Don smile when he's having his picture taken with a fan, but most of the time he doesn't. If I ever had a chance to have my picture taken with him, I wonder if I could get up enough nerve to say "could you please smile - I just love your smile - please - pretty please"! :nervous:

Willie, a lot of people use PhotoShop but I use Serif PhotoPlus - just search for it, and you can download it for free. It does everything you want, crop, blend images, alter brightness, layer pictures, etc. I'm not an expert on it though - there are so many functions I'm sure I haven't used yet! Ticky mentioned a few free online photo-editing programs the other night... She'll direct you to the best ones :thumbsup:

I use Photoshop, but I got it highly discounted, so it might be better for folks not willing to shell out full price to get some of these free programs. The price of such software is truly outrageous.

I started out very slowly with my wallpapers - the first Eagles-related one (http://www.glennfreyonline.com/images/WPAllnighterBlue.jpg) I did was just a tint - but eventually you learn the ropes and do a bit more sophisticated ones. That said, I still make those simple ones sometimes just because they look too look nice... it all works!

Just trying to say - don't get a complex if you can't use all the bells and whistles. Even simpler ones (http://www.timothybschmitonline.com/images/WPClose.jpg) can be HOT (http://www.timothybschmitonline.com/images/WPBoat.jpg) - feel free to add yours to the pot!

I could barely speak when I met him a few years ago. I took my Hotel California vinyl album to get signed and he told me that I looked too young to have gotten it when it first came out and asked me where I got it. I knew where I bought it but I was so awe struck that all I could think of to say was "I don't remember." (puts fingers to forehead in the shape of an "L") Besides my stupid response, I was at least able to ask for a picture with him.

When I met Don, I talked so fast and furious that the poor man couldn't hardly get a word in edgewise. He did nod, smile, laugh, and say "thank you" at my gushing, though. lol

Thanks for posting those, troub - they are :pimp:. Soda - I agree. I'm always sad when I think of the missed opportunity of not seeing a HFO show, but I wonder if I could have handled an "up close" experience back then. All that hotness may have sent me into cardiac arrest.

Unfortunately, I have never met Don. But if I ever do and have the chance to get a picture with him, I think I'd muster up the courage to think of a way to ask him to smile. I like his fan pics much better when he is smiling.

I'm assuming you're referring to this one and the one that was right below it soda? I'll have to look again on the other one, but this big one is from January 26, 2009 - their show at the BankAtlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I have some additional photos from that guy that I'm actually on my way to post right now. lol There's one for Glenn, a couple of Tim (well one with Don a little lol) and one with Joe.
