FP! I can't believe its 5 full years since F1 was shot...... but it is. Coincidentally, I'm watching it right NOW!!

I'm kinda celebrating as well. This night 3 years ago I 'Googled' the phrase 'Glenn Frey' for the first time. Since the gig on the 11 June I had busied myself with the F1 dvd, the Complete greatest hits, HFO and a the 'official' website. By googling him I had hoped to get a bit of bio details, a few new pics and maybe a better discography than what was on my F1 programme.
NOTHING PREPARED ME FOR THE ALADINS CAVE I WALKED INTO WHEN THE FIRST STOP ON MT SEARCH BROUGHT ME TO 'GLENNFREYONLINE' .

What a wealth of pictures, banners, music and bio material I got here that night and I spent a very pleasant time collecting and downloading my Glenn :heart: material. Then a few months later I found the Border and the rest as they say is history. Of course the friendships I have made are second to none and I really enjoy coming here as many days as I can. When Glenn :heart: sings in 'True Love'

Willie - I literally LOL when I read your post because it reminded me of my niece at her graduation party. Towards the end of a very exhausting day and evening, after most of the guests had left, she cracked us up as she was laying in the floor with sunglasses on sing 'I Wear My Sunglasses at Night'. That was the last time I heard that song. :grin:

Me too! I was first allowed to purchase my own music in 1985. I only bought two LPs before switching to cassette tapes - Chicago 17 and Corey Hart's Boy in the Box. I bought it because I LOVED the song "Never Surrender (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHl4OmRpq8M)" and it came with a poster! Corey Hart's poster adorned my wall for a couple years... the first of many. ;) Spiky hair, leather jackets... Ah, fond memories!

Hmmm - I guess "worst" is very subjective here. While I agree that these may not be Glenn's "best" moments, I have seen a few that I think are worse. The one that comes to my mind is a picture of him at a Grammy party in 1978 or '79 where he looks like a stoned mountain man. I'll have to try to ... eerr ... 'hunt' him down when I get some time. :wink:

And after a second look, GA, I actually see some redeeming qualities in that picture you posted - can we say 'chest'!!!! :partytime:
