That one is the first pic of Glenn :heart: I ever printed out... and it still proudly adorns my work station. :nod: :nod: :nod: The exact date I printed it: 19 February 2007.

And today, 11 February 2010, it is exactly three years ago that I discovered the man, while watching "Hell Freezes Over" for the first time. And the next day, I discovered this website!

Lisa, congratulations on your three years On The Border. It seems you and I were rather in sync without even knowing it. I discovered Glenn :heart: at the same time you joined The Border.

It took me another month to have the courage to start posting on The Border, but hey, I got there eventually. :wink:

I've missed a hang of a lot over the last few months, but GA (Lisa) has let me in on the excitement about MSG (I used to think this was an abbreviation for a food preservative, but I now see that it means Madison Square Garden :wink: :lol:), and those screen captures FP posted sure are looking good! I have lots to catch up with, but the last few pages of photos are certainly lovely.

The first one Troub posted is with Crowded House. To this day I don't know what the involvement was - but they were a great 'singing band' too. Glenn could nail Don't Dream It's Over.

GA, ever since I got back from Glenn's L.A. show, I've been feeling a bit of PGW/PEW. I know how lucky I am to have seen as many shows as I have, but I guess this PEW thing has got me because the more shows I go to, the more I want to go to. :shrug: I'm still not sure if I am going to be able to get back out to CA in the spring for another show, and I figure that if I don't go, then I probably won't have another chance to see the guys this year. I know I can't complain, but sometimes I still do. :blush:

I know this will seem like an odd thing to notice but I was looking at his hand in this picture and it looks like he may have what is colloquially known as a simian crease on his right hand. It probably seems strange that I would focus on something like that but my eyes were immediately drawn to it. It may have something to do with the fact that I have them on both hands myself. I can't tell if he does for sure but it intrigues me.

Yes a "simian crease" is when you have a crease that goes straight across your palm instead of the two lines that most people have (the "heart" and "head" lines if you are into palmistry). There are different reasons for its occurrence but it relatively rare. It can be a sign of certain diseases and syndromes (such as Down's) or as in my case, it is just the way I was born.

In palmistry it can have different meanings depending on whether its on the right, left, or both palms. Because the head and heart lines are connected in such a way supposedly those of us with simian creases are very intense, passionate, have a lot of creative energy, deep powers of concentration, and difficulty separating emotions and reason. I don't necessarily believe in palmistry but I always wanted to go have my palm read just for the fun of it and to see what the person had to say - kind of akin to reading my horoscope.

And yes, Dreamer, it makes him even sexier to me that's for sure!

All I know is that IU hasn't had a descent basketball team since Bobby Knight left. That's when basketball was good. Yes he threw a few chairs and grabbed a few players but they respected him and he made them a good team and many of those players went on to become huge stars/managers/coaches in the NBA!!

We rarely expel. This would have been considered an 'accidental' assault as the teacher was not the intended target rather she got hit in trying to break it up. IMHO that attitude sucks. Our management are a little too quick to back the pupils up against the teachers. I know it is necessary to see all sides, and kids have been victimised before and I would hate to see a kid accused in the wrong. But there are times when one has to put the boot down. My friend was offered the rest of the day off - which she didn't take. BIG DEAL!! she had been thumped in the chest.

I have a request. Can anybody post the picture of Glenn where he's on a street (I think) and he's got a 'tache and long hair - mid-70s, I guess. It's not a big picture, but he's doing a cute 'because I'm worth it' kind of pose. I believe we captioned it with that phrase at some point... I might be overlooking it on GFO, but I can't find it anywhere! I'd love if someone knows what I'm talking about and could post it here.
