I wonder what possessed him to cut his hair back in the early 80's after having it long?! I guess that was the style then. I'm soooooo glad he decided to grow it back long! He is the only man I know of that can still wear the long hair today and still look fantastic! He wears it well! :smitten:

He must just not like to wear one. He's been married to Jean for over 20 years and been together with her since the 70s.

I think it's just a personal thing. Lots of men wear them and lots of men don't. I can imagine that they might be bothersome when playing guitar.

In my husbands case, he had worn his for 33 years and had to have it cut off last year due to his finger swelling due to minor arthritus. It was kind of sad. I also have a nephew that lost his finger in a farm accident due to the ring. He actually was hanging on the side of a grain truck by his ring! Not a pretty sight. :shock:

I'm still trying to learn my way around so I missed your welcome (which thread was it on?) as I'm still learning the ins and out of multiple threads and really long ones! But I must say I do love this additional hello a lot! Thank you :hug: It's one of my favorites. Timothy's face is always just so expressive and those eyes of his, oh my!!! I love watching him when he's singing and playing, he becomes part of the music and you can just see and feel how much he loves what he does :smitten:. Saw him in Philly and Boston this year and I was just in awe of seeing him perform in the flesh (and what nice flesh it is :drool:). I agree on the facial hair issue, it covers up too much, like the smooth skin look much better!
