No, they definitely look brown in the first photo. I think it's VERY diluted pupils and lighting; his eyes often seem to darken or lighten in certain situations.

I really love Cherry Sunburst Les Paul's. Probably because my first good guitar I ever got was a Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul. :hilarious: I like how this one shines in the pic.

Thats a lovely pic Julie! I'm glad you DID'NT delete it. But I know what you mean. I had that problem when I went to the London gig. The shutter took ages to close with the result that the pics were blurry. Then I changed setting to the 'sports' one which is designed to shoot action. If you Don't have this mode, you need to select a setting that allows plenty of light into the camera and also that closes the shutter very quickly. Ie a QUICK snap with a high aperture value.

GA, the camera is a Nikon CoolPix but I had it set on 'museum' so that the flash is disabled at the moment. I know they hate flash photography. But now I have seen what you have said & I've changed it to 'sports' and yes, the flash is disabled! I will use that setting tonight!

Well Julie, yes, I can see why that would be your best moment from this year. And lets hope there are plenty more of them in some shape or form in 2011. I totally agree with you, I'd LOVE to see a solo show and woult try to travel as well.
I think this is one of the nicest from 2010 (having not been fortunate enough to be at a show in person this year, I have to rely on somebody elses!)

That wasn't necessarily my favourite photo that I took - I chose it at random. I suppose the ones which are my favourites I made into avatars. I need to work out which ones I want made into postcards and/or prints.
