This is a feature that we briefly discussed in another thread when we got our new software, but that I've been asked about recently.

This board has an "ignore list" where, if you choose, you can hide all of the posts of a particular poster from your sight when you read the board.

This is a feature that can come in useful whenever you think someone's posts are never worth reading. Nothing this person posts will be visible to you once you put them on "Ignore" (unless they are quoted by someone else), although you can edit it to un-ignore them if you change your mind.

The option to "Ignore" is located on the side panel of the User CP under "Settings and Options." Just select "Edit Ignore List" and put the name of the user whose posts you no longer wish to see in the blank provided.

Willie, if I ignored you I'd miss lots of the good stuff!

Thanks for the info, Soda - though I think I'm too curious (nosey) to ever put someone on 'ignore'!

I've considered ignoring my own posts.

I'm just bumping this thread to make sure users are aware of this feature.

Good to know, but I too like reading most or all of the posts. Everyone has something interesting to say, I think. :yay::spin:
