Would someone know if the track which is at the beginning of the DVD (farewell1), where the fans are entering is available as audio track by itself?
Is there a name to this great audio clip?

It's used as the lead in (about a minute long) to Tequila Sunrise in some of the 1994 live shows.

The lead in music before Tequila Sunrise in 1994 was Glenn's solo instrumental track Silent Spring, from his Strange Weather album. The music at the start of the F1 DVD is not Silent Spring.

Sorry. I didn't pull the dvd out to check but I know silent spring is on the farewell dvd somewhere. maybe at the end?

To my knowledge that track does not appear on the DVD & has not been used by the band since 2001.

Yes, you're right - it's before Tequila Sunrise. :blush:

However the initial question was what is the DVD's opening music, and that is definitely not Silent Spring.

You made me go check:) It's also on the DVD Disc 2 CH 12 ( when the credits are scrolling). I knew I heard it at the beginning or end. Couldn't place it. Sorry for the confusion.

I am lost here. If the Q you meant the piece just before starting the Concert -The Long Run Song, is as Soda said.

No JP, they were asking about some instrumental music which occurs over the titles while the audience are shown saying such profound Aussie-isms as 'Go Eagles'. It doesn't last very long & ends just before the band starts playing The Long Run.
