Must be partly from dad--I forget how curly/wavy his hair can be when a bit longer and layered. Even in the pink open shirt top, you can see the errant curl peeking though in front. Too cute. (Too sexy.) ;)

His kids' hair is no longer curly, though.

Looking at his hair when young, I don't think he probably got curly hair until after puberty, which is common trend in males--those crazy hormones. ;). And it's common that kids can outgrow curls as they age. Doesn't mean they didn't inherit them from him. They're lucky to have any genes and talents they got from him! :)

He had damn nice hair back in the day. And in a totally weird observation, it always looked relatively clean. Some rockers go for the greasy, grungy look, but, really, all of the Eagles kept it coiffed and clean. Maybe they were Breck men! ;) (Wasn't that the popular shampoo in that era?)

Also wonder what happened to all his groovy 70s jewelry. The ring in particular always strikes me as being very pretty. And it all looks to have an Eagle motiff. Hope he didn't chuck it down a ravine in Laurel Canyon when the band broke up. ;)

those shots are great! the unbuttoned shirt is very sexy indeed. I've said it before in another thread I think, Glenn is looking very youthful these days. He looks like he's having a really great time and looks so happy and lively. (and that's just my impression from still photos!)
I would love to see the actual interviews from those screenshots. Are they available on youtube or elsewhere? And the recent BBC interview too...is that available to view online? (I haven't actually tried looking yet)

The One Show was first only available to UK viewers & now it has been removed. I thought the other interview was audio?

As I have previously stated, although Glenn & Joe were featured throughout, there were several other stories which took up the rest of the hour long programme which people outside the UK would perhaps not be interested in.

It is not on YouTube yet & all I can suggest is that you keep looking for it but I say again, it isn't all that different from anything else you have seen. I suppose just this once I was lucky that I was able to see it.

By the way it is hardly a new look for him to wear an open shirt. When he wears a shirt (as opposed to wearing it over a T shirt) he always wears it open like that when he isn't wearing a tie. Two examples only:

I liked when he asked Glenn how his stomach was 5 minutes before showtime, ( thinking he would be nervous) & he says that he could still stand to lose a few inches. This is really amazing. I thought I was alone in this and never mentioned it because it seemed odd. I've always appreciated the way Glenn looks, including his neck, but it was watching the Farewell 1 DVD where I found myself nearly obsessed with it. I just assumed he would seldom travel without one. A few years ago, a co-worker, actually a customer, told me that a long time ago the suggested treatment for RA was to do nothing. More recently, daily exercise is the norm. Anyway, this guy, whose older brother suffered from RA, said that his brother was told if he didn't use the mobility of his fingers daily, he'd lose that mobility. I guess not everyone would approach it the same way and there are probably other exercises that can be done regularly even if the approach was the same. I just assumed without really thinking about it that he'd play frequently.

When I was at the After Hours show in NYC last year I noticed this on his shirt. I kept trying to figure out what it was because it looked like it was embroidered on the shirt. To me, it looked like an Eagle. Kinda like one of the old Eagle symbols they used in the 70s. A tiny little Eagle - that was what I was seeing and no I had not had anything to drink!! :hilarious:

In the last few years, I don't believe I've ever seen him or a picture of him without it on. Of course, it's not always possible to tell, like when he wears a suit. Even when wearing an open neck, the shirts hide the necklace.

Yeah, I think it is. The chain looks like the kind typically used for medical ID. I thought about getting one for my epilepsy but never got around to it.

He had surgery twice for diverticulitis in the late 1980s & in 1994 (which is why I didn't see the Eagles until 1995) but he also has rheumatoid arthritis.

Regarding turquoise, I wore the turquoise necklace I got in Santa Fe to one of the Opera House concerts.

A bracelet would be even more obvious & visible & he couldn't wear one while on stage at least because he often has his wrists covered in tape. His wrists are visible all the time. Most of the time the chain cannot be seen & is therefore as discreet as you can get.

I think it is far more likely that it has to do with medication. I don't know what Glenn's religious beliefs are & it would not have occurred to me to make a connection.
