Re: the Tumblr they were originally on -- she has like a 66-chapter fan-fic about dating Glenn in the 1970s. It's...sweet, but very much a teenager's puppies and unicorns, cheery view of what Glenn was up to back in the day. A bit naive, but cute. I can't get through it, but I admire her dedication to write 66 chapters. And kudos to being the only Glenn-centric fan-fic out there, I bet. :thumbsup:

I only read a little of her Glenn fan fic...just have too much going on to read fantasy stories about Glenn. hehe would prefer to read true Glenn tell-alls :)

It is with the Eagles. It's Take It Easy and that is indeed Don on drums. It was taken at the O2 Arena in London in 2009.

He doesn't play guitar during Route 66.

Thanks for the compliment but the backdrop is familiar to me as what they use for Take It Easy.

In the After Hours photos when he's not playing guitar, I normally can't tell what he's singing (unless I took it myself) but it doesn't matter in those photos! If there are a lot of hand gestures it's usually Route 66. :pimp:

I was reading Pamela des Barres "Let's Spend the Night Together" (each chapter about a different groupie) and one of the more modern groupies was saying that someone in the band's (I forget which one) crew goes out with a video camera to film the audience in the front row (like an audition) and brings it back to show them and they pick which ones they want at their "third encore" haha

I bought some of the Vintage Rock Photos last year like Troub posted. One of the photos had a crease in it so I took it to Archivers to reprint. The employee who helped me was a girl @ 17 years old & when she saw the photo she gasped & said - "OMG, who is this? He is so fine looking, OH MY GOSH". She was too funny! Soda and I got front row tickets via stubhub for his LA gig last year. They cost about $500 for the pair. But I think it's easier for solo Eagles than for the band as a group.

For the 2010 tour there were no VIP packages (there were in 2004, but the best I did on that tour was second row, ironicallly). I just did presale on the most expensive seats. That is also what I did for the After Hours tour. The AH tickets were a lot cheaper than the Eagles tickets, but I only got front row on one night.

I have to say thAt picture makes me more and more impressed with whoever dyes Glenn's hair. They let just enough silver peak through to make it look natural and "age-appropriate", but leave enough evenly colored that it looks like his actual hair color, not some shoe polish/spray job.
