Well I can see where the vest that Glenn is wearing kind of looks cowboyish - not very stylish unfortunately. Whatever look he's going for, it's definitely not his best one, IMHO. :grin:

Hmmmm, I'm almost positive this comes from backstage at the Santa Monica Civic when Joe filmed his TV special Joe Walsh & Friends. I for one think Glenn's adorable in this. I like rolled up sleeves. I don't know for sure but take a look at the clip. Aren't they wearing the same thing? If so, where's the rest of the photos!?!

Great find! It's definitely the same day. Glenn has a backstage pass on the bottom of his right pant leg in the photo and the video.

Love his hair and facial hair in this. I don't mind the outfit, except its odd, because the vest looks kind of like a quilted down vest and everyone else has fairly Summery looking clothes on. Are those Adidas that he has on? Talk about a blast from the past :-)

This show is my favorite. This is Joe recording his live album Can't Argue With a Sick Mind. (No overdubs on that album!) I've seen this show 100's of times. I got it on video in the early 90's and wore it out! I was happy to get a copy on DVD. Good to see that it can be found online.

Now, to bring this back to the subject at hand. I do find Glenn's vest odd. It does look quilted. In all honesty to me it looks like a zip-out lining in a heavy winter coat. I'm sure it isn't but that's what it looks like to me. "Hey, it's too warm in L.A. to wear the whole jacket. Gee, I'll just wear the vest that was conveniently stored inside of it." Does Glenn say "gee"? I doubt it. Anyway, you get the picture.

Jackson's son Ethan was born November 2, 1973, so I guess it's possible. Does anybody else think the building in the Eagles photo looks like Jackson's house (the link shows his house on the album cover?)

I think the child could be Randy's. He had a boy and girl (Eric and Heather..twins I'm guessing?) in May 1970. So if this is 1973..looks about right.

I know Joe has two tattoos on both of his arms(you can see them when he's not wearing a jacket). He might have more, but those two are the only visible ones. Other than him, I don't know if the other guys have tattoos.

Anyway, my neighbor, that isn't a very nice man, looks like the current day white bearded Henley. This isn't a good thing. I saw this cretin, ooops I mean gentleman, at a holiday party that my husband and I attended the other night. He too agrees with me. I walked thru the door and said to my husband, "Hey look(!) Don Henley is here." Ugh. I think it ages poor Don.

Well, fwiw, I agree with you MV. Don needs to lose the beard if he wants to look younger. Gray beards indicate 'older' to me.

I'm flattered that you think I would know but as GL said there is nothing on eaglesband.com giving information about where that show is. I saved that photo a while ago & I had to call it something generic because I didn't know where it was! In fact I know what I called it; 'colour 2010 programme'. In my copy of this programme the photo is in monochrome & there are are a whole series of similar shots.

At first I thought there is a clue in the type of microphone. They (or should I say HE) used this type of mic briefly during the 2005 (I think) European tour, as can be seen here:

So this is whatever year Soda saw them at Twickenham.

In this photo you can see that Don & Glenn have different mics just as they did in the FI DVD. After this Glenn went back to using the same type of mic as the others.

I absolutely love it..love the look of it and love that Glenn is in it!
it's not a vintage tshirt, but it's a vintage iron on transfer that was ironed onto the shirt before being sold.

so this vintage iron on transfer is not a very accurate portrayal of "the Eagles" haha

2 former members, and even at that time...where were Don and Randy?? ok I mean maybe they were just outside of that shot...but you can't make a shirt of "the Eagles" with out all of the members

There is a lot going on in that picture. The candle flames contrasted with the fog is a strange look. And, I'm getting a Last Supper vibe. Depending on when it was taken, it really could have been their last supper! :???:

Timothy looks 15 and beatific with the light shining on him. Joe looks concerned. Glenn is smoldering and Felder looks unhappy. Henley is pensive and reflective.

Can we make it bigger to see what is on the table? They have staged a still life - intriguing. What did they select as props? Do I see dominoes? Beer and wine bottles? A wine glass? White packets?? Wine corks? I can't tell!!!

I haven't seen any video from the Long Run concerts but Don & Glenn have NEVER seemed wasted to me onstage. Maybe a little high from pot but never what I would call wasted. I really love that shot because everyone makes out like the Eagles hated one another by that last tour but B.S. Human relationships are complicated. Just cause things get complicated doesn't mean there's any hate. I just wish the shot was clearer. It's a beauty.

Look in the pics in the reviews from LA, San Jose, Sacramento or all of them! Can't remember which and probably more than one. They were clean. I hesitate to bring up the picture of him at a newstand in LA again, but it was pants like those, probably the same ones. All I can say is that if wears them east of the Mississippi, he might freeze.

They are the new ripped jeans being worn by all the trendsetters these days. Found a pic, but I've seen better. I had noticed them earlier. I like them now, but complained to my kids that I would never buy new 'worn out' jeans! Well, I ate my words! :roll:
