We got married in 2000. That way, it's easy to remember how many years we've been married. :thumbsup: :lol: But I digress...

This venue is Conseco Fieldhouse. (What do these places do, sell the name of the place to the highest bidder?) We've seen the Eagles here twice, in 2009 with Soda, and in 2010 where I met Cheryl. The 2009 show was the best seats I've ever had for an Eagles show, second row center. In 2010 we were row 5, Joe's side. We can't (won't) do VIP, and June 8, when tickets go on sale, I'll be at work. So it will be up to Hubby to try that morning. Who knows, but I predict it will be a frustrating experience for him. We'll just have to wait and see.

PM-I had not heard about this show. I will be there even tho I have my ticket for Louisville. I might bring my neighbor this time. They have a new giant scoreboard that is almost the length of a basketball floor. Should be great for people sitting up high. If it works out I will see you there.

Just talked to my dad, I'm buying my ticket and he's buying his. He'll be downtown this Saturday at 10 at Bankers to buy our tickets. Section 17 $199. If I do return to school, I'll be downtown enjoying the Eagles in October instead of studying at Ball State.

Well, we got our tickets! Row 8, dead center. Not the best seats we've ever had, but great for the price, comparatively. Got them through StubHub.

Thanks Troub. Actually, you're not too far off. My eyes are always drawn to whomever is catching my attention at the time. The last show I went to in 2010, it was Don most of the evening. ;-)

There are still VIP tix available for this show and I'm thinking about getting one. Rows 2-10. Trying to determine at this late stage how far back I'll have to sit... I was thinking I'd do Nashville, since it's closer, but there are no good tickets for that show, not even super expensive seats on StubHub. Also, this show is on a Friday night, easy to stay over and not worry about needing to get to work the next day.

I am ready for Indy! I have checked on a few places to meet and eat before the show. Most are within 2 or 3 blocks. There is a "Hard Rock Cafe", and a place called "The Slippery Noodle" ( with a blues band ). I will touch base with Cathy in a day or so. I keep telling my neighbor, Eva, that this will be the best show she has ever seen. She mostly goes to see and dance to local bands. Can't wait to see everyone!

Until a few years ago I had a problem with that. My sister lives in Ohio and they were always 1 hour ahead of me. I assume Jim Dolan will be on at 7:00. You can usually get inside to the lobby and go ahead and get in the lines even before 6:30 or you can wait outside the building.

Me too, Cheryl! That absolutely made the show for me!

Just before the Eagles played Indy in 2010, it had been rumored that Don had suffered some kind of injury or ailment. I don't think it was ever confirmed, but Cheryl and I got to see a very playful Mr. Henley that night, and I jokingly speculated that he was on drugs (pain meds), because what we saw was so out of character for Don. I must say, we across the pond have lived vicariously through all of you and I know many people are not as lucky as Desperada and I in having the means and the cooperation from those dear to us to be able to travel to the USA to see them.
