I know that Joe is just barely in these photos but I think he looks fantastic. I assume he looked so good that night because of professional make-up? He really looks fantastic in all the shots from that show.

When I see those pictures from the Beatles tribute show and then all the tweets from that night about Joe. IMO I think he is finally accepted by his peers and the audience fans. He's getting new fans every day. I'm one of them. Some people probably still think of him as that bad boy from the early years, but he's not like that anymore. Rock on, Joe!!!

When the surviving Beatles want to work with you that is the ultimate "acceptance by his peers." However you're correct shun, there are still a lot of people that have no idea that Joe is sober. They mistake his slow speech (which I always attribute to the fact that Joe actually thinks about something before he says it) for him being drunk or high. Just yesterday I saw a tweet by some idiot saying how sad they were that Joe wrote a song praising sobriety. These people must be living under a rock or something. I remember sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see a sober Joe for the first time on Mtv when HFO premiered. "Oh my God, his hair is so short! He looks so straight!" Tho, I must remember that a lot of these people were infants or weren't even born when that aired. However, Joe's been talking about being sober for nearly 20 years now.

What!!! Somebody was sad(or in this case not happy) he wrote a song about praising his sobriety. Ok. Something is not right about that. People these days.

I was 14 when they got back together in 1994 and I didn't know that much about Joe and I have to admit. I had talked about his singing voice back then, but of course not today.

Absolutely adorable. Let's not forget that Joe gave Jimmy that Les Paul that Jimmy used all the time! Jimmy still has that guitar. Unlike Pete Townshend. Pete sold the guitars that Joe gave him. Sold them for HUGE sums of money. I read that Joe was NOT amused. Pete really needed the money at the time.

According to the Roadwork book by Tom Wright (2006) Joe and Pete rarely speak. Joe chocks it up to them both being grumpy old men. Made me laugh! So real. I often have to be reminded that the rock musicians I love are now all 60+.

I think it was supposed to lead to this photo of Joe visiting Kenny's Music in Glasgow. This is the 2nd shot of Joe in a guitar shop that I've seen since he's been in Europe. I love the idea of Joe going guitar hunting through out Europe.

When I saw this photo go up what I wanted to know is what does "hosted" mean? Does that mean that Joe & Marjorie visited there for an afternoon? Does it mean that Joe stayed with the ambassador in his home? Let's not forget that Marjorie's last husband was a British lawyer that had some sort of title. I think it was Lord but I can't remember.

The ducks are at Joe's solo shows and there are names written on the ones that I saw. They are on the stage right in back of Joe near where his water sits. There are at least 4 of them or maybe more. I'll pull up the pictures and see if I can read the names.

Joe had the cute little ducks at his feet at the recent Glasgow concert, did anyone ever find out the story behind them .

I watched the 1995 NZ show in the rain last night. It's hard to believe this is the same man. And I guess in some ways it isn't. Joe's looking mighty good these days. It's almost as if things have gone in a full circle.

It's a DVD and quality isn't great but it's certainly watchable and enjoyable. You're correct, Timothy looks absolutely incredible during this show. Come to think of it, when doesn't Timothy look good? To my eye he's always the least changed. And I'm talking from Poco days. Joe was just sober for a year here and quite heavy at the time. I'd much rather see a fat Joe then a derelict Joe so I'm not really complaining. He just doesn't look like the handsome Joe of today. In some ways he looks younger now then he did in '95.

That is a Flying V shape but it's technically not a Flying V because it's not made by Gibson.

By the headstock it appears to be a Fernandes Guitar. But yes, for all intents and purposes it's a Flying V...but if you put that in your marketing info you'll get a cease and desist from Gibson!

It was Pete. The Who's finances were always very skwirly. Sometime in the 80's Pete sold one or two of the guitars he got from Joe. Please keep in mind that Pete paid Joe for the guitars. Pete says he actually needed the money when he sold them. I believe one sold for over $100,000. Pete claims he wasn't a millionaire until after the 1989 Who reunion tour. I find this hard to believe but I suppose anything is possible.

Keep in mind that Pete saw the James Gang in Ohio (they opened for the Who) and booked them for their 1st European tour opening for the Who doing Tommy. I suspect that even if Joe has sour feelings about the guitar sale he would still talk to and be pictured w/Pete. That's just my gut feeling. Maybe we'll find out one day.....

Page's #1 used to be a Joe Walsh guitar. It's a '59 Burst that Joe had refinished and had the neck reshaped and when he got it back, it wasn't the same to him so he sold it to Jimmy, who was playing Telecasters at the time. Then Jimmy used it mainly starting with LZ IV.

This man has always had very attractive arms and now, there's no doubt about it, Joe's legs are damn good. Big feet & all!! I love this man and I'm happy this is how this workaholic is spending New Years.

Thought you guys would find it interesting how HOTE and Joe have been promoted on Twitter since the documentary came out. I've seen these tweets for nearly 2 years now. It's rare that the "bought and paid for" tweets all appear at once but I caught a photo of it yesterday. In the past I've written to people to ask why all the tweets said the same thing and I was directed to a page where people get paid per tweet. They copy & paste what they're paid to promote.

Recently there was some controversy about Kayne fans not knowing who Paul McCartney was after their song came out. There were tweets about "who is that guy?" I didn't believe them for a moment. Bought and paid for tweets to create controversy and to promote! It's crazy how things work these days!

Sometimes you see a photo and think, "Oh my! Wish I was hanging out with those guys!!" I have no idea who the guy in the middle of the photo was so I replaced him with myself.

Quick trip to AZ yesterday to hang out with friends at the Super Bowl.
