As far as jewelry, I'm going with the theory that Timothy is in a new phase of his life and wanted a different look - he just got tired of the things, like we all do with jewelry, outfits, etc... maybe he doesn't feel like he needs to be adorned right now. Obviously this is complete conjecture!

SS thanks for posting this, love the photo, well I would wouldn’t I, but also because my PC’s not liking photo-bucket at present either. I thought it was something I was or was not doing (that’s the usual reason for my IT glitches) but now I am wondering.

Anyway I also have a Tim photo but it will also have to be a thumbnail. It is one I have not seen before. A bit like the one with the ear ring but he’s looking the other way.

Yes it would be Jeddrah as it's definitely a 70's pic and Jeddrah was the only one of his kids born in the 70's.

I don't know when he stopped wearing it - that's a good tasker for a TBS sleuth! I don't think he's worn one since he married Jean in '83/'84. I saw a recent pic of Jean and she was wearing a band.

So I have another question for all of you TBS experts out there :) I though that I had read his dad was Hispanic? I always thought that he looked like he had some Native American blood ( those lovely cheekbones!). Anyone know his mix of nationalities?

The information about Rusty Young is over in the Poco thread - someone read a book and got that out of it.

Timothy's dad was Latin American - from 2 countries, I can't remember which off the top of my head - like Colombia and something else. His father was adopted by a child by the Schmits (Timothy's grandparents). You can see a picture of his dad on Timothy's official website...wait, I just checked it out and it appears his website has been redesigned! No photos?? I'm gonna make a new thread for this...

Timothy was asked in a radio interview in 2012 if he was Native American, and he replied: “Not that I know.” He said that he didn’t know much about his father’s side except that he had been adopted and that his grandmother from his dad’s side was from Mexico and his grandfather from his dad’s side was Chilean. He also said that his maternal grandfather was from Denmark.
As far as I know, most Mexicans and Chileans are mestizos, a blend of Europeans and Native Americans (Amerindians).

Yeah, Ben, on his face, neck and hands. He's definitely making a statement (not sure what it is). Handsome young man. We know TBS doesn't have tattoos on his right arm, so whatever it is was temporary. I've definitely seen that pic - will look around for a bigger version.

Wow, that is a lot! I'm not sure about one on the face. Sometimes I wonder if they think about how those tattoos will look when they are older, or if they might regret them later in life. Other tattoos you can cover up if need be, but the one on the face will always be visible.
I'd like to see the detail of what's on his neck. Wouldn't that be painful?

I got a small tattoo on my back years ago and they are very painful to get. I can't even imagine getting a large tattoo like that on the neck....talk about pain. The skin on the neck is very thin. And like it was already mentioned....how is the tattoo going to look years from now? I like tattoos but I think you should be able to cover them if need be....but to each his own.

As for tattoos, I had a friend who got one around her navel when she was young and had a flat belly. Looked really sexy when she wore a bikini or a crop top... then she got pregnant. You can guess how that sucker looked afterwards! She never wore a bikini again!

If her instagram is business or art related and intended to be viewed by the public, then I can see why it could be considered OK to post photos here, although I would still be reluctant if it were a family photo that appears to be from a private event. However, if her instagram is "friends-only" then I don't think we should repost anything from it on here.

It looks like it comes from the feed for Crimes By Design, which is a clothing company that Ben has done some modeling for, which would explain why they were his guests backstage.

I do agree that personal photos from the family shouldn't be shared here. Even though this is the internet, and once you put something out there, you really lose all expectation of privacy ( at least from the government, anyway - haha). I appreciate the fact that on this site we can enjoy the guys and the band with out being too stalker-ish.

Yes this one was posted by crimesbydesign, but she posted the same photo. Not sure who took the photo originally. I'm pretty sure Owen's Instagram is public. She has photos of her mom and dad together, and Tim alone. I just figure if people are curious enough to see the photos, they can find them on their own pretty easily. These kids know people are going to see their photos if they post them on a public social platform. I'd say I'm more of a voyeur than a stalker haha
