Border theme

I was checking the board out here a little more today as I had a bit of time to kill, and realized you can change the theme of your view of this forum by Eagles album! Really neat. so I was curious what theme do you use on your computer? Right now I have mine set for "Hotel California".

my tablet has lrooe and my reg lap top has the first album,,,some are easier for my old eyes to see than others..,.

Exactly, TT. Unfortunately, most of them bother my eyes, so I usually have to stick to LROE.

I just changed mine to Hell Freezes Over.

Go to the very bottom of the page & on the left side there is a drop down menu where you can change the theme

I'm using the One Of These Nights theme now.

Soda, maybe you could do a History Of The Eagles theme? I know it must take a lot of time to do all the customized graphics, I understand if that's not something you can do now, but it would be great to have a modern one.

Ooooh, I just put up the HFO theme. I haven't seen it before, and I love it! Timothy has so much hair its like a big ol' wig!! They all look so good.

I've only done them for albums, not DVDs (for instance no Farewell 1 style; HFO was an album, too). I see your point about having a modern one, though. I'll think about it.

I have to agree, FP. Felder does get a bad rap. I don't believe we'll ever know the entire truth about what actually transpired but it's water under the bridge and IMO it's time to let it go. Just sayin...

I meant I thought it was unfair for criticising him to be featured in a Border theme when he was one of five band members & had a valid right to be in the theme. I am not a fan of Felder at all, but I thought to say there was 'too much' of him in a theme in which he is featured in the same proportion as the others is unfair.

I LOVED the theme, don't get me wrong, just had too much felder where I wanted Timothy to be. Just saying. :sad:

Honestly!! :hilarious: And I'm not even a fan/defender of his and I can say that.

I always use default, that way I never miss when they change for anniversaries or holidays!! Love them all but I will say, I'd love some kind of HOtE theme also. I think it would be great for this year with all the excitement surrounding the tour and dvd.

Just switched to On the Border, I love it, but it's just a little too white and gray - I can't see the content half the time :(

Interesting. I didn't know you can change your theme. I just changed mine to HFO because that's when I first heard of the guys. Plus they were super hot during that era.

That's probably why the theme is the LR on my computer at home. It never changed back after the LR anniversary week. I'm going to change it when it get home.

I personally favour the Eagles LP theme - I think it makes the forum easy to read while being nice to look at. I really like the different shades of blue and I love the photograph of the four original members out in the desert, it really captures the feel of the debut album I think.

I like them all although the HFO one with all the background photos is a bit distracting at times. I'm currently using On The Border because here it's summer & all that white fits in with the weather (she says as the rain pours down outside)!

I love the different Border themes! Initially I mainly used the Eagles LP theme (I really like the blue background and the photo of the original four guys in the desert), although since then I've also got plenty of use from the Desperado and Hotel California skins (I think these are the best two, with the clever use of the guns and wine glasses respectively) and also the On The Border skin (it prominently features my favourite album cover). I think the One Of These Nights background is cool too, but it's a bit too dark for my liking. I've never really used any of the others except for the Christmas theme in December.

I'm using the Desperado theme. The text in editing boxes could be a bit brighter, but I like the outlaw theme.
