Coming up: Eagles HOTE Live DVD Survivor - July 31

Well, it's been a while since we've had a Survivor, so here's a new one for us!

What is your favorite performance on the third disc of the History of the Eagles DVD set, aka the Washington DC 1977 concert? How do you rate the songs?

While you can use any criteria you want to vote, the focus will be on the specific 1977 performance factor as opposed to just the song.

So, everyone get out your DVDs, watch the guys perform, and be ready to vote starting July 31!

That is going to be a very tough Survivor. I just watched it again, and every song is a gem....It will be interesting to see how it goes. The performances are spot on & all fantastic. I have no idea how I will vote off these songs!:dizzy::dizzy:

That will be a very challenging survivor!!! LOL I love all of the songs and all of their voices are so fantastic. I can give myself another reason to watch the dvd again (even though I've seen it 30 times now). LOL I might sit this one out and see how you guys vote.

Just watched it again (for research purposes only :lie:). I guess I will have to continue with my research up to the start of & during the Survivor ( & after). Such an arduous task!

tlr - Since there are 8 songs on the DVD, the game will take 7 rounds to narrow it down the final survivor. Each round is 48 hours, so that means the game will last for two weeks. You don't have to vote in every round to be eligible to play.

And, I have to say this is going to be pretty tough for me. I, too, think all the performances are outstanding on the DVD, although I do like a few better than others. There is about a 4-way tie for 1st place and a 4-way tie for 2nd place for me, but I'm going to watch the DVD some more to try to narrow it down. Any of the songs are probably worthy of winning this, so I'm looking forward to the discussion about the performances more than the actual results.

I agree, Dreamer. Picking these performances apart in a Survivor game will be interesting. Thank goodness I'm off from work tomorrow so I can scrutinize it again!
