I was at church this morning and the deacon quoted Hotel California in his homily. "You can check out any time you want but you can never leave". Never thought I'd ever hear that!

I went to my sons' school prizegiving this year and the headmaster used the same line in his speech. Not quite up with hearing it in church but it shows how much it has become part of culture.
