yeah I know not all is lost, last time they came to town I had 10 tickets, each pair I purchased were better than before, alas in these dark days that is not gonna happen again, I will spend the next 7 months every day on the TM website, it's not snobbery, I just like good tickets without having my pants pulled down, if you know what I mean.

Thanks Guy's

I don't think there will be any more London dates. It’s not because the Eagles aren’t popular; they could sell out a week, I'm sure. It’s the fault of the system at The 02. This is how it goes. The 02 announces one or two dates and then judges by the immediate reaction whether or not to add another. Usually, for acts like Fleetwood Mac or the Eagles, these sell out straight away. Here’s where the problem occurs. Once a new date is added, this does not appear on the main website, the homepage but only comes up when you click on tickets for the original date. If you’ve already tried and found there are no tickets, or if you know you can't make that date, you are unlikely to click on it and find the new one but this is the only way (to begin with) that you can access the new date. Therefore, sales for this new date are really slow in comparison to the first ones. This means that The 02 decides not to add another date. We found this out when trying to book for Fleetwood Mac. Our friend was on the phone and she had brought up an extra date that we couldn’t find on the website anywhere. The second Eagles date was not accessible on the main webpage for days.

You are probably right SS. The evening the European dates were released I checked out the eaglesband website.

3 dates for Dublin were posted, 4th, 6th and 7th June. About an hour later they took the two later ones down and have released them individually more recently. (All my frends who I told there would be 3 dates now think I have inside info and at least one phone number lol)

Similarly the site put up two London dates, took one down and now have reposted it.

There are also other UK venues too so I suppose they are spreading their custom!!

I'm surprised that Belfast hasn't got a date. They were very popular there last time.

Yes, get in there, Block A1, row 11 in front of Tim as far to the left as possible, got the tickets for Friday 20th.

Happy chappy, can't speak for the wife though ?yes she said I have seen them 4 times already ??????????????/ what the hell does that mean to me ?:partytime::brickwall:

But looks like I was wrong - as I posted a while ago - they added another date (20). In the end, we went for Hot Tickets (more expensive but way closer) and have hopefully great tickets for one night and average ones for another night.

Do you know what your VIP experience includes? We're in the second row on 18th June. We have tickets way back on 16 June and may try to sell them. Need to consult with our Dad who's supposed to come one night.

Be great to meet some Borderers.

I've noticed that too FP. I would have thought Germany would have been included and at least one other night in Holland.

The same has happened with Taylor Swift. She announced some 5 dates in London and one in Germany. But no sign of anywhere else. I wonder are the main venues booked out already?

Did you ask for your tickets to be sent in the mail? Have you received them?

Has anyone got their tickets yet? Our post has been very unreliable of late and we can't get any answers out of Ticketmaster. I don't know - you pay this huge handling fee (even for E tickets) and they're so unhelpful.

I have all my Dublin tickets but as I'm international for London I collect my tickets from the box office. I have an email confirmation which I must bring.

In Ireland they ask you not to call unless it's a week to the gig and the tix haven't arrived.

Yup. That's what they do here too but did you still receive your tickets in the post for Dublin? I just want to check whether they've been dispatched. It's really not on - it's not like they only take payment from you a week before the gig. That comes out immediately.

I too have booked tickets for this through Ticketmaster but am still yet to receive them, they usually send them through email but i haven't received them as of yet.

Has anyone else not received tickets yet?

I have a booking reference and confirmation saved away so there shouldnt be any problem getting them sent anyway.

Quick question for anyone out there who knows - what time roughly have the Eagles's concerts been finishing on the HOTE tour? Would I be right in anticipating about 11pm or so?

Glennsallnighter
03-16-2014, 07:46 PM
Yeah. I think the NYC ones finished by 1130. We were out of Taylor Swift in the 02 at about 11pm. There were plenty of trains back into Central London (and Stratford where we were staying) at that time.

After the Eagles first LROOE concert in the 02 in London in March 2008 (OMG! That long ago......) it was similar! They finished up about 1115 PM if I remember rightly.

secret squirrel
03-19-2014, 01:09 PM
What are the odds? We have tickets for a couple of shows on HOTE tour but paid extra and got better seats for this date. Now learn that the Violent Femmes are playing the same night! Typical.

My sister and I have extra tickets for two Eagles shows at the London 02. We were trying to sell them on Seatwave but they seem to have plenty. This is what happens when you can't work out where the seats are and when you want to sit close and your Dad wants to be further away. We ended up going for Level 1 seats when we went with our Dad and paying extra for Hot Tickets on another night. We only want what we paid for them (plus the charges we paid), price below.

We have:
Three tickets for 16 June 2014. Level 1 (Block 111) Row T.
Three tickets for 18 June 2014. Floor Level (Block A2) Row V.

It works out to £140 each (including the charges). I’m not sure how we would resolve payment but I’ll see if anyone is interested first. I have a Paypal account but have only paid out of it so far so will check it out.

Please private message me if interested.

Sorry for being spammy, but I also have spare tickets to sell for this gig, and I would rather sell them here for face value than at another site that takes a huge commission!

The tickets are:

3 x Block B1, Row G @ £140 each

These are floor seats in the middle of the arena, so should be a great view.

I'm also not sure how we would arrange payment. I think credit card + PayPal is the safest option for the buyer. I have the paper tickets already, and can send them out straight away. I'll even pay for next day/tracked delivery!

Please PM me if interested.

Hi Gary,

We have 3 tickets for 18 June, Block A2 but Row V.

And 3 for 16 June but they're Block 111, Row T.

They're E-tickets. We particularly need to sell the 18 June ones because in the end we bought VIP tickets for that night. Let me know if you're interested. Only asking what we paid for them. All £140 each.
